"They Did Everything"

I must admit, taking on a complete roof removal and replacement can be an intimidating project. So I decided like most consumers to obtain three cost proposals. I contacted Sierra Roofing by phone. There was someone to answer the phone, not a voicemail. I was scheduled for a review of my roof. Agapito arrived on time as scheduled. Agapito very courteously explained the major components of a roofing system, also providing many photos of options in a new roof. I asked many questions regarding the different components, the installation, the inspection process, the warranty, and also on different types of gutters. We walked around the house together. We looked at the fascia boards and other existing conditions. Agapito answered all questions directly. After reviewing other roofing contractor proposals, Sierra Roofing included a HIGH QUALITY 3D asphalt roofing shingle, sun tubes & 2 skylights for the same price, or nearly comparable. The guys showed up for the tear off and install. They did everything as Agapito explained. There is always a large mess after tear off, but they cleaned everything up. The crew was careful with my property. Then, Agapito returned several times to make sure everything was done correctly.

"They've Earned My Praise"

Our home is our single most expensive personal investment besides marriage and kids, SO when the roof started leaking unexpectedly on our 15 year old house, we were quite worried and in a hurry to fix the issue, preventing further damage. Luckily, we found Sierra Roofing through Yelp. Stephanie at SR led me through the process, had an emergency fix done the next day and had Robert out to assess a permanent solution quickly. Turns out we had ten tiles cracked, probably from the recent earthquake. With rain in the forecast, they moved our repair up and completed it just hours before the downpour. Stephanie was excellent to work with. Patient, open to all questions, and clearly understanding of my angst over possible further damage. Robert was thorough, detailed and easy to plan with. Their crews were fast, efficient and totally self sufficient. Both emergency and long term repairs have already passed tests by Mother Nature. They've earned my praise and my business for roofing and gutters from here on out and I would gladly recommend them.

"Very Pleased With The Results"

We had our roof in Oakland redone by Sierra and are very pleased with the results. Compared with other bids the quality of the roofing product they use (Landmark Solaris by Certainteed) had unique features such as invisible venting along the ridge lines, asphalt shingles that meet CA Cool Roof requirements, a lifetime transferable guarantee on the materials, and a 10 year warranty from Sierra on the workmanship. The crew did a very good job with the installation and left no debris or damage to the landscape. The Project Manager, Ivan, was very responsive to questions and resolving some fine-tuning required with the downspouts. The appearance of the house is much nicer than before.

"Give Them A Call ASAP"

Where do I start... These guys are amazing!! After owning 3 fixer uppers I have come across many contractors and Sierra is by far in the top 5 I have dealt with. After doing my research and speaking with 8 roofing companies, I found Chris at Sierra Roofing. He was very educated on roofs and was willing to work with me on price. They are very competitive when it comes to pricing. Once we signed with them they fit us into their schedule within two weeks because of our urgent situation of about 10 leaks. Mark, the project manager set up all of the guys at my home and his attention to detail was impeccable. He also answered his phone everytime I called him and basically was at my beck and call throughout the whole process. He is a very sweet man who made the process stress free for me -- A HUGE PLUS!! Then there was George and his his crew who actually installed the shingles. They all cared for my property as if it were there own. The areas where they worked were spotless!! AMAZING. And of course the shingles looked beautiful!! Overall, I would recommend them again to anyone in the market for a roof. A++ YOU CANNOT GET ANYONE BETTER! Plus on top of doing the roof Mark was super helpful and gave me other recommendations for a stucco company to fix other work at my home. They were reasonably priced and did excellent work. GIVE THEM A CALL.... ASAP

"Well Worth It"

Absolute professionals for a good price! Chris and his crew were amazing. Chris touched base throughout the waiting period to let me know when he would be calling to set up the install etc Always called when he said he would and crew came right on time. We had the 7-inch gutters replaced around our home and they matched perfectly to the ones we replaced and that are located around the second story. The crew was extremely friendly and made me feel very comfortable. They did a good clean up job as well. Most contractors we know always leave bits and pieces of garbage around the house and remnants of their job materials. Would highly recommend to anyone interested. Don't be put off if there is a wait, they're well worth it and there is a reason that they are so busy!

"This Was A Slam Dunk"

This was a slam dunk ! The work they did was on time , fast and very efficient. The main reason I am writing this review is that the communication from the beginning was superior and a pleasure. Joe came in at the beginning and sold me (and I had 5 roofing companies come in before I decided to hire Sierra), but not in a car salesman way of selling but he sold me on the product. Then the on site supervisor Mark was always available and willing to do what it took to keep my wife and I happy. Had minor issue with skylights and he is going to make it right. My neighbors all are raving about the new look on my roof and it's my pleasure to tell them it was done by Sierra Roofing. These days customer service is missing many times , but Sierra service was stellar. Also they did my gutters and skylights, no need to get three different companies. If I could give more stars I would....

"I Highly Recommend Them"

We have used Sierra Roofing for two different roofing projects. Both came out perfectly. We had them replace the flat portion of our roof and put in a walkable deck space. And recently, they replaced the back of our roof, which is a combination tiles and shingles. Both projects were perfectly completed. Just as importantly, these folks are fast, professional during the quoting process, project communication, daily job clean up, and follow up/paperwork/billing. I highly recommend them.

"5 Star Service For Sure"

Sierra did both our roof and solar back in December. I was incredibly pleased with all aspects of the project. Manny came out to give us our initial quote. Very competitive with other roofing and solar installers (including Costco). I liked the fact they were a one stop shop so no coordination of services. They handled all in house. Manny did a phenomenal job of answering all of my questions and being available by cell whenever I had another question or concern. Mark and his team managed the roof and were prompt, informative when I had questions. Did a very nice job and everything came out great. Jeff and Alex managed the Solar part of the project. I didn't get a chance to meet Jeff in person, but Alex his site lead was AWESOME! Jeff is great too, and did a great job of communicating and even had a nice gift basket for us when the job was done. 5 Star Service for sure. Alex did an awesome job of doing a clean solar install. Setup the system and went through explaining how everything came together. It's been 6 months since it was completed and the solar is doing great. I would highly recommend this company to family and friends!

"Great Communication Throughout"

Our garage gets so hot in the summer, we decided to put in one of those whirly vents in the roof to help ventilate. I put in a bid request through yelp and a few different companies called back. One company gave us a quote for around $5000, talking about rebuilding most of our roof, and Sierra roofing gave us a quote for under $2000, to do exactly what we had asked. We had to wait awhile to fit into their schedule, as apparently they are quite busy. This is actually a good thing, it means people like them and hire them. They came, all wearing masks, and got the work done quickly. No mess left, it looks clean and is working. They had great communication throughout. I would definitely contact Sierra again for my roofing needs.
